Love Is It Real Or a Myth

I have been in a long relationship for along time now, and i thought that it would be everything that it is supposed to be . So i thought that when two people were together they would treat each other with some respect,loyalty,honesty,authenticness.Although i would like to investigate some relationships on my own journey. Love is kind and gentle not full of evil and wickedness. People are not supposed to try to hurt you and call that love. When two people are inlove they tend to forget that people change over the course of time. Why is it that people sometimes misconstrue love for lust.
